Great Mountain Center is a joint venture by individuals who are passionate about Ontario Grown Ginseng. Great Mountain Center’s founders are Sam Kicksee, Jim Lucas and Charles Yeh. Jim and Sam are both ginseng growers who reside in the Simcoe area. They have been involved in the ginseng growing industry for the past few decades, and thus, they have acquired an abundance of knowledge in the products. Charles Yeh is an individual who retail and wholesales ginseng and related products. Involved in both the growing and the retailing of ginseng for over thirty years, Charles has developed a passion for the ginseng industry.

Great Mountain Center is committed to both quality and service. Because of this commitment, our mission is to provide every consumer with the knowledge and understanding of Ontario grown ginseng and its products. To do this, we provide each visitor with many different presentations from a video presentation to an interactive tour of our demo farm. Each sales representative has the knowledge to answer any question about Ginseng or be able to find someone who is able to answer the question.

Our center is split in different areas. The first area includes our ginseng store and display area. Included in this area is a demo farm for visitors to see ginseng and the growing process, and a video presentation center with a presentation of ginseng in two languages; English and Mandarin.

Moving to the second area, we have the ice-creamery. This ice-creamery has been around for decades, and continues to provide visitors with delicious homemade ice-creamery. Included in this location are snacks from both Asia and Canada, and obviously ice-cream. The ice-creamery is involved in trying new and different flavours, so thus, we would like to introduce our newest flavour, ginseng ice-cream. This ice-cream currently comes in three different flavours; honey, chocolate, and mint. Along with homemade ice-cream, we provide consumers with the Italian ice-cream called Gelato. We currently provide over twenty flavours, and we can accommodate any request made by an individual.
